Local 71 prides itself on the ongoing training that it provides to all of it's Union Members. Our contractors demand skilled and well informed employees to complete their jobs safely, accurately and efficiently. Below you'll find resources for apprenticeship classes as well as a schedule for additional safety, training and informational classes.

Closing Central

Buffalo Public Schools.
If Buffalo Public School’s afternoon or evening activities are canceled our Apprenticeship classes will be canceled.
In the event of in person classes being cancelled due to Inclement Weather, please follow these instructions found below.

ITI Training
At Local 71, all members are encouraged to upgrade their knowledge and skills. One way this can be accomplished is by going to https://www.sheetmetal-iti.org/OnlineClasses and registering for additional training classes including Ventilation Verification, TAB, Reading Weld Symbols, Reading Plans and Specs Using Procore and Grinder Safety. Anti-Harassment Training
